Apple Finally Serious about Iphone Battery

  • One of the biggest challenges by smartphone and tablet makers is how to keep a long battery life. This is one thing apples struggled with though the phones and tablets. However the next generation of iOS devices could see improvements, as the company is going on a hiring spree for new battery experts.
  • We're not expecting the products to get any bigger, but it's bound to get more powerful and that could give battery life a hit. With it not likely launching until September, hopefully these hires have come in time to improve that.

Web 2.0: Multimedia Blog Pre-Posting

For the start of my 9th grade, I am taking the class English I. My teacher is Ms. Hunter. In this course we study a variety of techniques and learning comprehension skills. When I first started the class, I expected to learn how to read and write more proficiently. Also, to read many short stories and novels.

To date, I have learned a lot already about writing essays and stories. We have also read many short stories and novels. We have read "The Gift Of The Magi", "The Necklace", "The Scarlet Ibis", "I Have A Dream" speech, and "The Most Dangerous Game." Novels we have read are Speak and Romeo and Juliet. I have also built up my vocabulary tremendously with wordly wise packets. Ms. Hunter's grading policy is 40% formal assignments, 40% performance based assignments, 10% homework, and 10% informal assignments.

My favorite assignment we have done in English class to date is reading Romeo and Juliet. My favorite project we have done is our Public Service Announcements. I liked out PSA assignment because we worked in groups and my group made my class aware of the harmful affects of bullying. We use technology in the class by using the laptops do practice PARCC writing essays on the computer.

Apple cracks down on accessory makers to discourage leaks:

Click Here for the article's website.

  • In the Apple rumor cycle, accessory makers "borrow' blueprints of the models to create add-ons for the products
  • Apple made key accessory producers sign agreements preventing them from getting design details unless from Apple itself
  • Apple makes "penalties" for producers that leak the given information
  • A lot of the accessory makers who jump the gun are small outfits that never had a chance of reaching Apple shops
  • Official schematics do not show up until a given announcement, so you may end up waiting weeks while major third parties scramble to develop new add-ons and accessories
